There are many strategies which can be used to perform a successful minimal downtime deployment. One of the strategies to achieve this is by using blue-green deployments. Blue-green deployments are a deployment strategy where you have two identical environments, one is the production environment (blue) and the other is the staging environment (green). When you want to deploy a new version of your application, you deploy it to the green environment. Once the deployment is successful and the application is tested, you switch the traffic from the blue environment to the green environment.
